**Job Title**: Commercial Administrator/Assistant
**Salary**:Dependent on experience
**Location**: Birmingham, West Midlands
Parker Jones Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national social housing contractor who are seeking a Commercial Administrator/Assistant to join their office in the Birmingham area.
**Job Role & Responsibilities**:
You will be supporting and working closely with the commercial team assisting with all administrative duties.
- Supporting with Branch Administration within applicable systems
- Where applicable, you are required to understand the administration on Client integrated systems, liaise closely with your branch team and IT department to ensure effective management and communication of information.
- Attending any meetings where requested to do so and taking accurate notes
- To assist in the financial and technical aspects of contracts including procurement, invoicing and payment
- Raise subcontract orders for review ahead of issuing
- Approve payments to subcontractors in accordance with Company Policy and ensure submitted invoices are paid on time.
- Completion of iHASCO defined mandatory training modules is essential.
**Knowledge/Experience**:
- Administration experience is essential
- Excellent IT skills with a solid understanding of Microsoft, Windows and Outlook packages
- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to be proactive and act on own initiative

- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work well as a team
