**Administrator/ Stock Assistant**

We’re looking for a competent **Administrator/Stock Assistant **to join our team on a full-time basis working 40 hours per week (weekdays). Part-time would also be considered (must be a minimum of 30 hours per week over 4/5 days).

**Job description**

The Administrator/Stock Assistant will assist with a variety of administration duties, and keep control of the stock on-site. The right person will have an eye for detail and be accurate and thorough in order to help the department run smoothly and efficiently. The job holder will be expected to operate the stores during opening hours and respond to any queries and requests from the staff.

**Your main duties will include**:

- General administration duties to assist the Pre-Production Manager/ Stores team
- Assembling build folders
- Managing the on-site stores
- booking in Materials and Consumables and recording entry on the ERP system and issuing materials onto the shop floor
- Controlling stock levels and assisting with any purchasing required/ replenishing consumable shelves
- Control the booking in and out of company tools and organise repairs, servicing or sharpening as needed
- General housekeeping to ensure store areas are kept clean and tidy
- Assisting with stock takes and ensuring stock levels and parts are recorded accurately on the system
- Issuing staff uniform and keeping an accurate record of issued items, and stock levels
- Processing returns to suppliers, and chasing any outstanding deliveries

**Essential Skills/Experience**
- Administration experience
- Organised and tidy
- Computer literate
- Pro-active and helpful
- Self
- motivated and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision

**Desirable Skills/Experience**
- Stores/ Stock Control experience
- Forklift trained
- Knowledge of tools and tool repairs is a bonus
- Knowledge of laminating would be advantageous
- A valid UK driving license

**LOCATION**

The place of work is normally at our site in Falmouth or at Mylor Creek Boat Yard, Mylor Bridge.

**PAY**

An hourly rate of £11.50-£12.50 per hour is offered dependent on experience.
