Job Title: Full-Time Salon Receptionist and Personal Assistant (PA) to Laura
Company: Laura Bell Salon Location: Falmouth
**Responsibilities**:
Reception Duties:
- Greet clients in a warm and friendly manner and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle client inquiries.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Maintain salon inventory, including products, supplies, and retail items.
- Assist with cash handling, POS transactions, and appointment booking software.
Administrative Support:
- Serve as a personal assistant to Laura, the salon owner, managing her schedule, arranging appointments, and handling correspondence.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, including booking venues.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as needed.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media management and promotional campaigns.
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Provide product recommendations and knowledge to clients based on their individual needs.
- Handle and resolve client complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Follow up with clients to gather feedback and ensure their satisfaction.
Salon Operations:
- Collaborate with the salon team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
- Coordinate with stylists and technicians to schedule services and manage their appointments.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering salon supplies and tracking stock levels.
- Support staff with various tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service or receptionist roles, preferably in a salon or spa environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using computer systems, including MS Office Suite and appointment booking software.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing concepts is desirable.
- Knowledge of salon products, services, and beauty industry trends.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
**Salary**: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
