**Job**: Patient Booking Assistant - Administrative and Clerical Band 3

**37.5 hours a week, routine working hours**: 7.5 hours between 08:00 - 20:00 Mon-Fri and 09:00 - 17:00 weekends.

We are looking for a responsible, enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated individual to work as part of the appointment booking team with some reception duties in this busy Imaging department.

Duties will include handling calls in our busy Booking Office, rescheduling appointments for a range of appointments and helping patients and visitors feel welcomed to the department. You will be required to deal with a variety of telephone queries and to ensure effective communications are maintained not only within the department but to service users internal and external to the Trust.

The role of Patient Booking Assistant is key to ensuring our patients are supported and assisted from the first contact they have with UCLH, to ensure an overall positive patient experience. The post holder is required to provide a responsive call handling service, process referrals and book appointments, and provide patients or visitors with any information they need regarding our services.
