Using your own judgment and communicationskills, ensure that patients with no prior appointment but who need an urgentconsultation are seen in a logical and non-disruptive manner e. Signpost patients to the correct service f. Processincoming and outgoing mail g. Initiating contact with and responding to,requests from patients, team members and external agencies h. You should be responsible for undertaking a wide range ofreception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to themultidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting,and directing patients, patient registration, booking appointments, processingof information (electronic and hard copy) and assisting patients as required.To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution ofinformation, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising withmultidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care andcommunity service providers.
Based in East London we are large teaching practice whichconsists of 10 GPs, 4 nurses, 3 pharmacist, 2 Physician Associates and otherhealth care professionals, we offer the London Living Wage to all our front-linestaff and support teams on personal development and have great supportstructures internally to support the busy environment we work in
