**Position: Patient Liaison Assistant**

**Location: St. Mary's Hospital (Imperial College Hospital)**

**Salary: £11.95 per hour**

**Hours per week: Full time - 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.**

This is a front-line position where you will be dealing with patients and teams from the hospital, both face to face and over the phone. It is a very fast-moving environment. Therefore, you will need to be able to keep calm under pressure, remain professional and think clearly when the service is busy.

You will be involved in checking patients in ready for travel, responsible for the welfare of patients in the waiting area, dealing with CAS Ambulance Care Assistants and any other situations that may occur. You will need to have a pro-active can-do attitude and a strong team ethos.

**Responsibilities**:

- Front desk patient interaction
- Building relationships with wards
- Dealing with patient questions
- Liaise with control over patients travel
- Using our transport computer system
- Working as part of a team
- Being friendly and helpful
- Contact patients who have been delayed
- Moving and assisting patients as required
- Attending bed meetings
- Filling in incident reports
- Assisting with patient complaints

**Salary**: £11.95 per hour
