**Purpose of Role**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Enquiries & Bookings**
- Act as the primary point of contact for the organisation, fielding enquiries, feedback and complaints to relevant departments; collating and recording appropriate responses
- With authorisation from the Visitor Experience Management team, coordinate cancellations/refunds as requested by visitors
- Liaise with Waddesdon’s ticketing partner PrioTicket in response to visitor queries

**Ticketing**
- Regularly test and check the Waddesdon website and online ticketing system, reporting and escalating any errors in a timely fashion
- Ensuring that the systems are accurately reflecting our current offer, and flagging any issues with the Head of Visitor Experience and Marketing Managers
- Liaise with Waddesdon’s ticketing partner PrioTicket
- Harness visitor feedback

**Other Responsibilities**
- Understand and embody the values of the National Trust and be able to actively upsell National Trust membership
- Identify and manage risks including card handling processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and procedures
- Ensure that you comply with regulations to protect the personal data of visitors, staff and contractors
- **Knowledge, skills and experience needed**:

- Practical operational experience in a customer facing environment, ideally in the tourism or heritage sector
- Proven customer service skills and experience providing the highest possible levels of visitor care
- Advanced IT skills, with experience of using bookings/ticketing systems (prior experience of administering booking/ticketing systems an advantage)
- Flexible customer focused approach with experience in delivering exceptional standards of customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse visitor audiences
- Excellent team player with the ability to work proactively and conscientiously within a small team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident working under pressure and handling complaints

**Terms & Conditions**:
**Contract Type**:Flexible temporary, (initially 6 months until 4th January 2025)

**Salary**:£11.94 per hour

**Hours**: Flexible working pattern Wednesday to Sunday, preferably including one weekend day. Including Public Holidays (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day) and the occasional shift outside of the normal rota, as required by the business. Working hours will vary upon business needs across the main and Christmas seasons. Hours may vary and cannot be guaranteed. Your pay will reflect the hours you work. Hours of work to suit the needs of the business (exclusive of breaks).

**Annual Leave**:Your statutory annual leave entitlement is 28 days (20 days plus 8 public holidays), or 5.6 weeks. This will be pro-rated based on actual hours you work. If you work a public holiday, you will be paid double your hourly rate, but your statutory annual leave entitlement will reduce accordingly (i.e. you are being paid double on that date, so therefore not entitled to holiday pay or TOIL for that date).
