Working in partnership with the Police, Insurers and Government our collective aim is to make it a thing of the past but, until that’s accomplished, we’re here to compensate victims quickly, fairly and compassionately.

Last year we helped more than 42,000 people struck by uninsured and hit-and-run drivers and paid over £400 million in compensation to support victims rebuild their lives.

The Change Management Office Lead role provides oversight, support for and governance of the organisation’s agreed change activity according to a defined Change Framework. This includes overseeing provision of clear and consistent reporting to enable informed decision-making, transparency and clearly documented and understood change outcomes and leadership of an effective Change Management Office (CMO), providing centralised support and leadership for a team of change professionals, working collaboratively across the organisation.

Key Outputs
- Facilitate the planning, governance and delivery of change activity to deliver the agreed business strategy.
- Support regular review of the MIB’s Change Framework.
- Operate industry standard change governance and risk management processes.
- Provide regular reporting to demonstrate progress, the delivery status and any risks or issues associated with agreed delivery in order to:

- Inform decisions / balance priorities.
- Support recommendations for making progress.
- Support planning to ensure resources are available to support and deliver changes to services. Work with Technology and Change leads, programme teams, customers and third-party vendors to ensure priorities can be accurately assessed.
- Ensure successful delivery and acceptance of change by engaging stakeholders to minimise disruption and distress.
- Take a proactive role as part of a high-performing, customer-centric CMO team.
- Provide line management and central support to a small team of change professionals working within the organisation.
- Plan and facilitate assignment of change capability to support agreed change delivery, supporting recruitment activity and consistent on-boarding as required.
- Identify, oversee and manage risk across the team’s delivery.
- Coach and mentor team, support education of stakeholder community.

Qualifications and Education

Skills and Knowledge
- Proven track record in organisation Change and technology portfolio programmes.
- Experience working within and leading change delivery teams providing support and development services across a number of workstreams.
- Effective, engaging communicator with proven ability to articulate complex concepts simply to a broad audience.
- Experience working with outsourced providers and third parties. Understanding of contracts and managing third parties to deliver against agreed commitments.
- Successful record of stakeholder and relationship management, able to influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to manage conflicting, fast-changing priorities.
- Experience of managing significant financial budgets.
- Experience working as part of high-performing teams.
- Ability to motivate, coach and inspire colleagues.
- Governance, risk and regulatory awareness.
- Experience working with industry recognised standards and frameworks (e.g. ITIL, Prince2, APM, agile methodology).
