**Description of Team / Department**

The Hanson UK Shared Service Centre (SSC) collaborates closely with the business to deliver administrative support functions and ensure excellent customer service.

Within the SSC, the Customer Accounts (CA) department plays a crucial role in conducting risk analysis and evaluating customer credit limits.

It also handles accounts receivable collection and takes a proactive approach to managing all aspects related to customer accounts.

**Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role**

The Customer Accounts (CA) department holds responsibility for conducting risk analysis and evaluating customer credit limits.

Additionally, it oversees the collection of accounts receivable and takes a proactive approach in managing all aspects concerning customer accounts.
- Chasing and collecting due and overdue debt Proactive management of accounts to reduce over limit / DCC issues. Liaising with analysts to proactively manage credit limits
- Delivering exceptional customer service both internally and externally, following our First Line Support model where applicable.
- Managing all transactional activities through the designated workflow tool.
- Ensuring strict adherence to relevant processes and controls, while also assisting the team in maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- Facilitating smooth and effective escalation procedures for non-standard requests or issues.
- Acting as a credit controller for a significant ledger within the collections team.

**Skills / Experience**
- Prior experience in providing excellent customer service.
- Experience in handling accounts.
- Familiarity with credit control procedures.
- Accounts reconciliations.
- Previous office experience.
- Experience in various administrative tasks
- Comprehensive training will be provided.
