Ensure the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough and the Cambridgeshire Children in Care (CiC) team delivers high quality, safe and effective services. Ensure that the HCP continues to develop and innovate with a focus on meeting children and young peoples needs and improved outcomes This should be achieved through effective leadership. Support the development of an integrated 0-19 Healthy Child Programme across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough and take a leadership role for development of areas of work. Support the development of the Children and Young Peoples annual plan ensuring it contributes to the delivery of objectives and meets all of the local and national targets.

Ensure robust financial governance and the achievement of financial targets and be responsible for the overall financial performance of the HCP in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough and the CiC team in Cambridgeshire. Provide effective leadership for the HCP and CiC teams, ensuring all staff are supported to undertake their roles and responsibilities, demonstrate an understanding of the whole service and support staff to be curious and excited by its possibilities. Develop and sustain excellent working relationships with key partners, individuals, and stakeholder groups across the geography. The post holder will promote the Trusts and its services to organisations and agencies.

Promote the involvement of children, young people and their parents//carers in service development and delivery.
