**Position Overview**

**Working Hours**:Monday-Friday 8:00-16:00

**Location**:Floor, East Building, Medawar Centre, Robert Robinson Ave, Littlemore, Oxford OX4 4HG

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Laboratory Stock management - ensuring lab consumables are maintained preventing disruption to science
- Routine decontaminations of incubators, water baths, cell counter, class II cabinets, water purification units and other equipment relevant to site
- Provide regular glassware and plastics collection, washing and, autoclaving/ sterilisation services (steam, dry or filtration) for the scientists to use within the laboratories.
- Management of pipette inventory and organisation of calibration schedules Buffer & Media prep
- Laboratory housekeeping - tidying stock rooms, cleaning benches, equipment

**Experience Required**
- Must have clean full UK driving license as service is based across 2 sites
- Good IT skills required (including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Good time management skills, ability to be flexible and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis
- Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
- Experience of working in a laboratory environment and Knowledge of SHE requirements in a laboratory environment is desirable but not essential
