Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our site in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, where we design and manufacture superconducting magnets for MRI systems. This is a full-time role that comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will work closely with Supply Chain Management colleagues and our preferred freight forwarder to manage the schedule and shipping of our MRI magnets.

In your first few weeks in this Logistics Coordinator role, you can expect to:

- Work closely with our preferred freight forwarder in the arrangement of supporting transport either by road, sea or air to best deliver the products to their destination on time
- Ensure 100% delivery on time, compliance to export control regulations and protocols, with the accuracy of export control and customs shipping documentation
- Attend and support daily production planning meetings to ensure product readiness to meet the schedule for acceptance and shipment
- Manage the delivery of spare parts, liaising with internal stakeholders such as Procurement and R&D in case of component obsolescence.
- An understanding of SAP modules for transactional / reporting
- Good comprehension of the exporting and importing of goods
- A basic understanding of the shipping of dangerous goods and aviation control
- Desire to gain knowledge of MRI Magnet Technology and understand how they are designed, built and function.
