**Department Overview**

The Cricket department is responsible for all aspects of cricket across the Club including the professional male and female teams, academies, pathway programs, science and medicine, and grounds management.

**Job Purpose**

This role will help service all professional and academy squads based at Headingley, including Yorkshire Men’s Pro, Northern Diamonds and Northern Superchargers. Reporting to the Cricket Operations Manager, this role will also work closely with the Northern Diamonds and Girls Pathway Operations Manager and the Boys Pathway Operations Manager to help with all cricket related administrative and operational duties all year round.

**Key Responsibilities**

1) Matchday Operations
- Assist with arranging and communicating domestic and international match day cricket operations at Headingley.
- Welcoming and liaising with home and away teams and match officials at Headingley Stadium and acting as a point of contact during their stay.
- Attending fixtures at outgrounds and being the point of contact for players and support staff.

2) Non-Matchday operations and administrative duties
- Assisting the Cricket Operations Manager with a range of administrative and support tasks as necessary.
- Booking venues for training and matches where needed.
- Coordinating stock take and distribution of training and playing kit

3) Dressing Room Coordination
- Carrying out dressing room attendant duties on match and training days at Headingley
- Helping with the coordination of casual dressing room attendants and including the submissions of timesheets
- Ensuring the dressing rooms of players, support staff, match officials and dining room areas are operated in accordance with the Yorkshire Cricket Dressing Room Operations Manual.

**Job Specification**
- **Essential Criteria**_
- Previous experience of working in a professional environment in a customer facing or administrative role, preferably in the sporting sector ☒
- A high level of understanding of professional sport and experience of being involved within sport in a non-playing capacity, preferably in cricket ☐
- A good level of understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Powerpoint and Excel, with demonstrable experience of using Excel to collate and process large volumes of data ☐
- Demonstrable experience of communicating clearly and concisely through both written and verbal communication to deliver services and information to various stakeholders. ☒
- An ability and demonstrable experience of using your initiative and high levels of problem-serving skills to achieve goals and key objectives within certain timeframes ☐
- An understanding and experience of delivering projects within an equity, diversity and inclusion framework including inclusive learning practices ☐
