We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic **Customer Service Advisor
- Sales **to join our team at **JPS Wakefield** working in partnership with Wakefield District Housing Association
Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within **STARK Group** which specialises in providing building material solutions for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities.
This role is working with **JPS in Wakefield** as part of the **STARK Group**. We are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. We connect suppliers of heavy building materials with the professional craftsmen who build, renovate, and maintain the cities of tomorrow.

As a **Customer Service Advisor
You'll be at the heart of our operations. For the right person to build a career with a national company. If you love working with people, who enjoys an active and varied fast paced role. This could be a great opportunity for you to join JPS in partnership with Wakefield District Housing
**The person we're looking for will have**:
- Preferable experience of working on a trade counter. Providing excellent customer service whilst building strong customer relations
- Flexible approach to work; happy to work in various departments within the branch
- Ideally have had experience within the Social Housing Sector, Construction/building materials industry (although not essential)
- A great team player; ready to support colleagues and customers when needed
- A confident communicator, both over the phone and in branch
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- People's person with a strong relationship building ability
- Must be well presented and a hardworking, team player
- Driven, enthusiastic, hungry and lots of self-motivation
- Ambitious, looking for progression and wants to make a career for themselves
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Teams/Word /Excel)
**Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 - 5PM 42.5 hrs (No weekend) 1 hr break**
**What will I be doing?**
First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working. Experience within our industry is not essential, we are committed to providing you with the full tools and support required to carry out your role within Jewson JPS.
**Your day to day duties will be to**:
- Dealing with enquiries over the trade counter and on the phone in a friendly and efficient manner
- Processing operative van stock and repairs orders
- Purchasing stock and checking stock levels
- Maintaining high presentation standards in the working environment ensuring it is always kept clean, tidy and presentable
- Able to effectively manage ad hoc projects as they are launched inline with WDH programmes
- Accurately and efficiently identifying and picking stock to fulfil customer orders
- Pick items to fulfil customer orders
- Assist in the loading of operatives vans and serving
- Learning products and processes in order to deliver a great customer experience
