An opportunity has arisen to provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support for Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust.

We require an enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised, efficient Clerical Assistant to join the team at the Bladder and Bowel Specialist Service office based at St Austell Community Hospital.

The Band 2 Clerical Assistant role must have excellent office management skills and involves preparing, typing and managing clinics for a number of clinicians; and a range of other service activities, under the supervision of the Band 3 Team Secretary

**Main duties of the job**:
The Bladder and Bowel Specialist Service is a well-established specialist nurse led second level assessment resource that serves the whole population of the county. We deliver services for all members of the population including children, adults and elders (including frailty); learning and physically disabled; mental health; maternity; children with special needs or under safeguarding; long-term conditions (e.g. MS, diabetes, stroke, Parkinson’s, spina bifida etc.); dementia and spinal cord injured people. Referrals are received from RCHT, Derriford, GPs, Adult Social Care, District Nursing, Children’s Services, Education and Cornwall Foundation Trust staff (including self-referrals).
This is an extremely busy role, and you must have effective organisation and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential. You must be able to prioritise, organise and delegate workload - liaising with the rest of the team to ensure the most effective and efficient use of time.
