We are currently recruiting a HR & Resourcing Apprentice to join the HR Team at our Head Office in Lutterworth. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start a career within HR whilst completing an 18 months training programme consisting of workplace and online assessments.

As the HR & Resourcing Apprentice you will provide administration support for the HR & Resourcing Team. You will manage the start of the on boarding process and help administer workforce changes throughout an employee’s career cycle ensuring data entry is accurate and that changes are entered onto the HR System in a timely manner in line with payroll processing deadlines

Responsibilities include:

- Oversee and onboard new starters with an appropriate handover to the business
- Advertise vacancies internally and externally using cost effective methods.
- Maintain Right to Work checks ensuring they meet the criteria
- Update the administration tracker on a daily basis for all relevant activity, starters, leavers and operational changes to ensure accurate tracking and service levels are maintained
- To process status changes to workforce or employee details in the HR System and other data files flagging inconsistencies and omissions.
- To produce, collate and issue necessary changes to terms and conditions to employees.
- Working on a range of HR processes ranging from transactional to complex, from recruitment through to departing the company
- Using HR systems to keep records up to date and filed correctly
- GCSE grades at D or above
- Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment - managing own workload, reprioritising when required
- The proven ability to organise, plan and prioritise a changing workload.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Able to work as a team or on own
- Good customer service skills
