Job responsibilities- To manufacture, modify, rework and inspect a range of PCBAs to relevant IPC/customer standards.
- Allocating work to individual team members.
- Managing the output of the team and ensuring the ‘route times’ are met / bettered whilst meeting the dates set in the Master
- schedule.- Updating the appropriate visual information boards in the respective areas.
- Encouraging and reporting process improvement activities with the team.
- Ensuring that team members are appropriately trained to undertake the work allocated.
- Responsible for the skills development of team members and updating training records accordingly.
- Ensure HR related activities are carried out, including but not limited to: PDR, STEP and Return to Work interviews.
- Maintain a tidy and efficient work environment using standard industry techniques e.g. 5S
- Reporting of all non-conforming material in the work centre (scrap etc).
- Give technical support to team members.
- Responsible for all aspects of tooling and equipment in the respective work area.
- Drive the team to meet / exceed all relevant company performance metrics (KPIs).
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed correctly.
- To provide cover for the Cell Manager as and when the need arises.
- To support all other areas of the business as required.
- Any other duties required by the Cell Manager.
