Production Chemist Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Chemical Plant Operator to join our team at Staffline Express. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our medical-grade products.

About the Role:

  • Report to the Production Supervisor or Manager.
  • Operate machinery such as drying plants, spinning lines, wrapping, winding, and cutting equipment.
  • Perform quality checks, process sampling, and follow SOPs.
  • Maintain safety, conduct cleaning, and assist with audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and comply with HS&E standards.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong safety awareness and teamwork.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and reliable, with plant or cleanroom experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Kaizen principles is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: £11.44/hour (basic pay) + £6.73/day (shift bonus) = £18.17/hour (average shift pay).
  • Overtime: £17.16/hour (after 36.5 hours).
  • Sunday Rate: £22.88/hour.
  • Skill-based Pay Increases.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Wednesday, 7:50 AM to 8:00 PM (36.5 hours/week).
