**TEAM LEADER RESIDENTIAL (Children and Young People) this is a Deputising Role with Home Manager**

**Salary**:OTE £31,725 per annum

£29,250 per annum, (PLUS £700 On Call allowance and £1775 Inner London Allowance)

**Shifts times are 2pm to 10pm, 9am to 5pm, 9am to 9pm (normally school holidays) 10am to 10pm (normally school holidays and weekends)**

**Location**: Northolt, Middlesex.

Haydock Short Breaks based in Northolt is a 6 bedded house providing short breaks to children and their families aged 8 to 18 years of age. The service supports children and young people who have various disabilities and complex needs. The aim is to ensure that they provide a fun and welcoming environment.

**A bit about the role**

As a Team Leader (Deputy Manager) you will be deputising and supporting the Registered Manager to run the home you will ensure the children and young people's needs are central to all decisions made and opportunities for development are at the forefront.

**How you will help our Young People**:

- Deputising in the managers absence, liaising with stakeholders and a range of other professionals and by taking the lead in specific areas of the service such as compliance, health and safety and service monitoring.
- Managing and leading a team of residential professionals and other staff as directed in the delivery of a 24-hour rota (including management of shifts).
- Building and maintaining positive relationships by providing emotional/social support to young people, who can display challenging emotional and social difficulties.
- Taking the lead with case/care planning management for children or young
- Supervising, guiding, inducting and training the staff team and volunteers where required.

**What are we looking for from you**:

- A minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce Social Care Pathway/Residential Care or equivalent
- A positive and confident approach to engaging with children and young people,
- Previous experience in a supervisory / management or Deputy Manager role.
- Experience of working with children with challenging behavioural/emotional and complex needs.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
- Wants to work in an inclusive organisation that values all of its people.
