HR Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a small newly setup HR Team based within our Kettering ambulance station.
**Baseline duties and Responsibilities**:
- support the HR team
First point of contact on queries
Organise and maintain electronic HR personnel files
- Update and scan HR documents onto the internal systems and databases
- To support the HR seniors in HR compliance audits
Ensure they are up to date, weekly and annual checks to be conducted
- Build & maintain good working relationships with managers and staff
- Reporting of staff issues to Head of HR
- To ensure staff on visa, all documents are updated according to Home Office
guidelines, support and training will be provided and guidance available from the team
- Provide friendly and efficient welcome to all visitors
- To ensure compliance & quality assurance in line with procedures & CQC
regulations. Full support given from the HR team
- Maintain training records, communicating with managers if staff are due Skills for Health training
- To ensure that confidentiality is maintained throughout all aspects of contact
with staff and HR issues
- To accurately deal with telephone enquiries, ensuring correct information is
taken and relayed to appropriate source
- Manage and prioritise workload
- Inputting new starter details, ensuring all details are correct
- Honours confidentiality of employees records
- Deal promptly and appropriately with any queries received or concerns raised regarding HR/Payroll, liaise with a HR senior
- To ensure all trackers are up to date
**Essential Criteria**:
- Previous experience in a similar role or admin is advantageous, but not required
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Polite and good appearance
- Organised with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to plan
- Passionate in delivering a high-quality service.
- Sociable team player, flexible and committed.
- Accurate and IT literate with database and Microsoft Office experience
**What is the package?**
- Starting Salary: £22,000 per annum
- Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time
- Location: Kettering
- Annual leave: 20 days plus statutory public holidays
