London, United Kingdom Counter Terrorism Policing Full time

**Training Support Coordinator - HUMINT - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ**

**The starting salary is £33,348 which includes allowances totalling £2,841.**

**The salary is broken down as £30,507 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £32,639 Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.**

**Location: New Scotland Yard/CTOC**

Every day, Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) works to protect the UK - and so could you. As a Training Support Coordinator, you’ll see that CTP officers get the highest quality training in this vital role. With so much at stake, you’ll make a real impact, ensuring that officers get the training they need. Join us and play your part in keeping the nation safe.

As a Training Support Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Unit Training Manager, providing administrative support. You’ll manage diaries, take minutes and check mailboxes, but also tackle training-related tasks. It means you’ll be securing venues, organising each training event and attending it if required. Some national and international travel will therefore be necessary - but you’ll thrive on the challenge.

In effect, you’ll be the hub of CTP training, working collaboratively with stakeholders across CTP. You could be liaising with regional police partners one day, and partner agencies the next. You therefore need to be good with people, both face-to-face and on paper. Polite, IT literate and able to build relationships, you’ll have natural customer focus.

Please note that to ensure the continuity of this role, you will need to spend at least two years as a Training Support Coordinator. You will also undergo security vetting (if you’re not already DV-vetted).

**Key Tasks**

The post holder will be required to do the following:
**Provide administrative support to the Training Team Manager, including;**
- Diary management
- Scheduling, organising and attending training events both nationally and internationally
- Minute taking, administering and dispensing actions
- Communication with regional police partners and finance departments in support of training events
- Maintain records relating to aligned training events
- Securing suitable venues for training
- Managing training requests from police and partner agencies and prioritise accordingly
- Maintaining a central record of completed training
- Assisting the Training Manager in obtaining training feedback.

**Provide general administrative support for the collective Counter Terrorism Policing training capability, including;**
- Support and maintain databases and mailboxes
- Assist in circulating corporate communications to the Counter Terrorism Policing network
- General office administration, including maintaining supplies and services
- Record keeping in support of training resource, budget and HR functions
- Project additional support as required.
