The role of People Development Co-ordinator is ultimately to work collaboratively with the Human Resources team to develop, support and provide a world class employee experience.

The co-ordinator will be engaged in all aspects of HR and people development working closely with a specific business unit within the firm as their business partner, whilst working with and supporting other members of the People team with firm wide initiativesand strategic employee experience projects.

Key responsibilities:

- Working closely with your assigned business partner lead to support and develop the employee experience within that business unit
- Support wider development of firm wide strategic employee experience projects as part of the People Team
- Take the lead in some key factors of the Best Companies employee engagement process firm wide
- Support the training programme on the Learning Management System, working closely with the People Director, business partner and HR administrator to ensure learning and development requirements for your business unit are met and continue to innovate contentoptions
- Support all areas of the employee life-cycle from recruitment, on-boarding, induction process, career development and exit management for team members within your assigned business partner unit
- Pro-active involvement and development of other employee focus initiatives as part of the People Team
- Participation in weekly people team pulse meetings and monthly strategy meetings and taking ownership of ongoing employee experience and development projects arising

Success in this role will look like:

- Developed strong relationships with business partner and building relationships with team members within business unit who you help keep energised and focussed on their performance and personal development
- Clear understanding of different service lines within business unit and training and qualification frameworks within these
- Championed the employee experience amongst your business unit and identifying opportunities for continual elevation and improvement
- Known to all team members with strong relationships built and an understanding of each of the roles within your business unit to help build upon further team development planning going forward
- Confident with all core platforms including HR system, LMS platform and CRM system
- Participated in key strategic employee experience projects and supported wider people team with ongoing development activities

Technical Skills:

- Intuitive technology skills
- Ability to review, streamline and document procedures
- Skilled in use of core Microsoft products
- Awareness of HRIS or LMS technology and experience of practical use would be an advantage although not essential

Experience and Qualifications:

- Experience working in an HR focussed role with core understanding of employee journey and related processes
- Experience of training and development through either CIPD training or through on the job training in relevant role with responsibilities for delivering, managing or implementing training and development activities
- Demonstrable experience with building rapport with people at all levels
- Database management or similar experience would be advantageous
