- Purchase Ledger Processing
- Preparing & running BACS payments
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Create payment lists, ensuring payments are processed & approved promptly
- Petty Cash
- Matching, entering, and coding of invoices
- Credit card statement reconciliation
- Liaise with Finance Management to provide accurate cash flow forecasting
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Daily Cash Reporting
- Daily Stock Valuation Reporting
- Assist Finance Manager in Preparing Month-End Management Accounts including P&L & Balance Sheet
- Prepare month end balance sheet recs including, but not limited to:

- Bank Reconciliations
- Prepayments
- General Purchase Accruals
- Supplier Statement Recs
- Run monthly payroll for hourly paid staff, summarise detail and have the detail signed off by the Operations Director
- Support running management reports on statement reconciliations, supplier ledger debit balances, payments falling out of terms and invoices awaiting approval.
- Improve the ledger processes, bringing them all in line with the best practice for processing, reconciliations, and reporting
- Manage relationships with key suppliers across the ledgers
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, becoming a point of contract for resolving AP issues
- Various reporting and analysis as and when required
- Various Project work as and when required

**Requirements**:

- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload and the workload of the team.
- Confident communicator, with the ability to articulate financial information and analysis to stakeholders.
- Independent thinker, keen problem solver with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work well with a team and under pressure with strict deadlines
- Highly competent in Excel
- Attention to detail is a must
- Experience of Sage 200 would be an advantage
