The Oxford Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team is crucial in delivering urgent crisis resolution and timely mental health home treatment to service users by assessing their needs and caring for them in the least restrictive environment. The team and workload is dynamic, fast paced and requires clinicians that work within it to be creative, compassionate and passionate about providing care to those we serve.
We require a proactive, enthusiastic and experienced Registered Mental Health Professional. This individual will be able to demonstrate astute leadership skills, as well as their ability to work independently and or part of our team,. The desired individual will bring competence, professional expertise and be bold in delivering inpatient standard of care in a community setting whilst managing risk in the least restrictive way.
The Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) is a key part of the Urgent Care Pathway vision to provide a 24/7 CRHTT across the county. Clinicians employed into the team are already part of an exciting and developing service that aims to support services users and their trusted persons with least restrictive care by providing a variety of highly intensive brief Bio
- Psychosocial intervention interventions in the community.
The Home Treatment Clinical Lead post is central to helping the CRHTT achieve service expansion across Oxfordshire. The post holder will collaborate with our multi-professional leadership team and mental health partners to both plan, monitor and lead on the implementation of service expansion. The post holder will support with both team leadership and management, planning and service delivery and will act as lead for the implementation of home treatment interventions that are least restrictive and are co-produced.
The post will be both shift working and office based between Monday
- Friday 9-5 PM to provide management cover where required. The post holder will be an individual who is driven, trustworthy, innovative, and compassionate.
Our work is interesting and varied with opportunities to develop therapeutic skills in DBT, CBT and CFT informed training in both in the workplace and via our Learning & Development team. The Home Treatment Team Clinical lead role is an important development in care provision and is pivotal in helping us deliver safe and effective care to our patients. Interested clinicians who have a broad range of skills including skilled mental health assessments, risk assessment and management, proven ability to signpost service users towards the most effective treatment pathways, competence to co-produce meaning therapeutic intervention and the ability to inspire and support change should apply.
To work within Oxford Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team to undertake all aspects of clinical duties as a clinical team leader within the team.
To work with patients with particularly complex needs and provide professional supervision to junior clinical members of the team.
To deputise for MH Urgent Care Team Manager as required.
To take a lead on the development of our Home Treatment Service providing expertise and training for a diverse and multi disciplinary team, working in partnership other clinical leads in the team and maintaining a close working relationship with staff and other third sector services that work alongside the team to deliver a crisis response to all patients on our caseload.
