**The scope of duties includes**:
Managing the Zendesk trouble ticket queue and resolving issues related to Microsoft platforms, cell phone administration, and laptop/peripheral user issues, break/fix repair, and dispatch of related support organizations.
- Upkeep of the complete documentation for deployed laptop base, inventory and acquisition/return record keeping for laptops, phones and associated peripherals.
- Active Directory (AD) administration including account creation in support of onboarding activities, as well as account decommissioning related to the off-boarding process.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of efficient operations management processes and guidelines including customer services support, availability and performance monitoring, and security for all aforementioned systems and infrastructure.

**And ability to develop skills in any of the following areas**:

- Linux systems administration (specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
- AWS
- VMC on AWS
- Cohesity
- Microsoft Intune (MDM for cell phones and for laptops)
- Microsoft AutoPilot

**Job Requirements**:

- Hands-on technical expertise in the areas of systems administration, end user support and working knowledge of server and network architectures including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware and Windows Server 2008R2 and up
- Hands-on knowledge of laptop operating systems (Windows/MAC), cell phone setup, and use of industry standard toolsets
- Proactive in-depth monitoring, tuning and reporting of system and security environments
- Excellent organizational, documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated, resourceful, and willing
- Ability to work independently on numerous activities and provide guidance and informational updates to others on the team
- Strong communication skills (English written and verbal) a must
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of networking and server concepts and troubleshooting
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Participate in on-call rotation at a team level
- Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse and geographically dispersed team.

**Education & experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience, certifications, or technical training.
- 2+ years of related direct hands-on experience required supporting systems, virtual environments and end user devices including Dell, HP laptops, MAC, and Apple iPhone technologies

**Travel Requirements**: Regular travel required within Europe (Germany and the Netherlands), i.e. once per quarter
