Brook Street are excited to be supporting the Health Research Authority (HRA) in their search for a Temporary Admin Officer.

**Key Details**:
Temporary - till the end of March to cover illness

Hourly rate - £12.86, paid weekly in arrears

Location - Home working

Hours of work - 37.5hrs - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, can be flexible start between 7.30am and 10am, finish between 4pm and 6.30pm

Start date - 26th February or as soon as you are compliant

**The role**:
Working in a fast paced, exciting office where no two days are the same. You will be part of a team, acting as a point of contact, ensuring that everything runs smoothly in the office. Being a person of integrity, who can maintain a high level of confidentiality, you will be working unsupervised. You will have full autonomy and will manage your workload accordingly, multi-tasking and prioritising as required.

The work will involve sometimes working with material of a very sensitive nature and may not be suitable for everyone. There will be support available for those that are exposed to this material.

**Main Duties to include but not limited to**:

- Acting as first point of contact
- Supporting the division teams
- Able to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Able to re-prioritise own workload and ensure this fits in with the other work pressures of the team
- Inputting of data accurately and to a defined standard
- Organising travel and sorting expenses
- Monitoring of the inbox
- Attending meetings and taking of minutes
- General office duties, including ordering stationary, filing, refreshments etc
- Answering phone queries

**Essential Skills**:

- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience of working with Microsoft Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel and Teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to set up spreadsheets and use formulas
- Integrity and confidentiality
- Administrative
- Good eye for detail and high level of accuracy

Training will be provided on the various systems but you will have full working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

You will be required to pass compliance which will involve you providing the details for 3 years referencing.
