Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Referral Coordinator to join our team. As a Referral Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the referral process. This includes processing incoming referrals, obtaining necessary authorizations, and ensuring timely communication with patients and healthcare providers.

**Duties**:

- Process incoming referrals from healthcare providers
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Schedule appointments for patients with appropriate specialists or facilities
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to gather required medical documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date referral records in the electronic medical records system
- Communicate with patients regarding referral status, appointment details, and any necessary follow-up instructions
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients
- Assist in resolving any issues or concerns related to referrals

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

**Salary**: £22,673.87-£36,874.50 per year
