A basic knowledge of how local authorities enforce both civil parking and criminal legislation.

A desire to learn new skills and become part of the team, to ensure that the team can function at the highest level, supported by the management team.

No experience is required although some basic office administrative experience would be desirable.

**Additional information**

The main office will be The Alps Depot, Wenvoe. You will be working alongside the Enforcement Manager, the Enforcement Technical Officer and the Enforcement Supervisor. Good interaction between all team members will be necessary.

On the job training will be provided by the aforementioned and will be supported by all other members of the team. We will support the development of the person’s skills around teamwork and communication as well as skills development surrounding administration and social media.

The majority of the training will be provided on the job; however, we would be looking to source additional courses surrounding administration and the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) 1984 as well as around the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act (CPIA) 1996 to help develop the individual’s skills within the Enforcement Service.

This would also be beneficial for future employment opportunities either within the police or another enforcement body and will ensure the staff member has a clear understanding of the role and expectations as well as building their skills and abilities to develop the role.

A development plan will be drawn up, looking to build upon the person’s existing skills and qualifications to ensure that they are able to learn the skills required to undertake the role, whilst also developing their skill base and their CV for the future.
