Quickstart- Facilities Administration Support

Working with the cleaning and security managers, to provide administration support.
**About the role**
Provide administration support in the form of scanning, electronic filing, hard copy filing, data input this will include inputting data to spreadsheets, identifying areas of concern and the identification of trends.
Maintaining sickness, annual leave etc.
Management of office resources, ordering of stationary and the like.
Management of training databases and maintaining SIA license checks.
Compiling and distribution of staff memos and other communications.
Management of the archive system.
Any other duties commensurate with the grade.
On the job training will be provided, this will be undertaken with on-site managers to ensure staff member has a clear understanding of the role and expectations as well as building their skills and abilities to develop the role.
Working Hours
25 per week at National Living wage
Hours of work - Monday - Friday 25 hours per week, ideally 5 hours per day but some flexibility can be discussed.
Location - The Alps Depot, Wenvoe, CF5 6AA
Contract - Temporary (6 months)
**About you**
You will need:
A basic understanding of Microsoft packages is required - basic use of Word and Excell, as well as use of outlook.
A desire to learn new skills and become part of the team, to ensure that the cleaning and security departments can function at the highest level, supported by the management team.
No experience is required, although some basic office admin experience would be desirable.
**Additional information**
They will work to support both aspects of the business and interaction between all team members will be necessary.
On the job training provided by the management team will support the development of the persons skills around teamwork and communication.
As part of the role, the management team will provide support with the learning of specific databases, spreadsheets and the like, with training provided to assist them in learning how to undertake the role to the required standards.
The majority of the training will be provided on the job, however we would be looking to source an apprenticeship that would be relevant to the individual - for example Business Admin NVQ - whilst also being relevant to the role. This will depend on the current qualifications and skills of the successful individual, as we would be keen to ensure this holds relevance to them and adds value to both them and to the department.
A development plan will be drawn up, looking to build upon the persons existing skills to ensure that they are able to learn the skills required to undertake the role, whilst also developing their skill base and their CV for the future.
This plan will aim to build the skills and experience for the individual to ensure a planned programme of development.
