**Winn Solicitors (Scotland) LLP **offers a specialist accident claim service, focusing on all elements of the claims process to help our clients deal with the fall-out of a non-fault accident.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Head of Legal to assist the Partner - Head of Legal with the day to day running of the business, leading a team of solicitors and paralegals, as well as managing their own varied case load including RTA, EL and PL cases.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Prepare and conduct cases thoroughly, ensuring the gathering of all requisite evidence.
- Maximise income per case through recovery of damages to include hire, repairs, recovery, and storage.
- Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of solutions that enhance processes and workflows.
- Deliver exceptional Client Care in accordance with service level agreements.
- Report all issues, problem and compliance breached in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management.
- Carry out ad hoc tasks or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Partner - Head of Legal for this post and the associated level or responsibility attached to it.

**Person Specification**
- Admitted in Scotland with a minimum of 4 years + PQE.
- A good understanding of credit hire would be desirable but is not essential.
- Experience in Court litigation including conducting cases in the Court of Session and Sheriff Court.
- Extensive experience in drafting.
- Skills and/or experience of leading a team within a commercial environment.
- An ability to build and maintains strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Help set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations to drive team development and success.
- An ability to work towards the collective shared goals and objectives.
- Experience of demonstrating effective team leading within a commercial environment.
- Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution focused approach.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
