Are you an experienced Ships Agent looking for an exciting opportunity to further develop your career working with one of the UK’s leading shipping and freight forwarding businesses? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for providing exceptional service to vessels and their crews?

**Your Role**

Based at our Humber Bulk Terminal Port Office, as a valued member of the Shipping Department team, you will book port services, Pilots, towage, any other service providers required by the master/vessel. You will board ships in the “Humber” Port area, liaising with the Master, officers/crew, and the shore, obtaining the latest information in relation to the loading or discharging operations. You will present documentation to the Master for signing and obtaining any ships documentation that is required for the port call.

There is a requirement for occasional out of office hours attendance compensated with flexible start/finishing of working days.

**What you'll bring**

You will have experience as a Ships Agent in a Port setting or with a Ships Agency, with well-developed analytical and problem solving skills. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also enjoy working effectively as part of a Team.
