Recently we have embarked upon a business plan focused on substantial growth, introducing new client services and expanding into new sectors. The role of Research and Marketing Assistant will play a pivotal part in the business growth.

**About the role**:
We are looking for a **Research and** **Marketing Assistant **to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our marketing efforts as well as research to support our growth areas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
- Plan and monitor the on-going company presence on social media (Instagram, Facebook etc.)
- Create content to support social media efforts and work with Tonik’s graphic design team to constantly have a calendar of content ready to post
- Launch optimized online adverts through Google Ad words, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
- Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
- Undertake relevant research tasks to support Tonik’s business growth as and when requested
- Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends etc.)
- Create monthly reports to show progress of marketing efforts
- Support Head of Marketing with all marketing responsibilities within Tonik and its clients

**Requirements**:

- Recent graduate or undergraduate student studying a business and/or marketing related course
- Research skills
- Excellent understanding of marketing concepts and best practices
- Knowledge of ad serving tools and web analytics tools
- Skills and experience in creative content writing
- Analytical mind-set and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm and passion to learn
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite skills preferred but not required
- Ability to use InDesign will be of benefit
