**Key Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of a Housing Officer include, but are not limited to:

- To deliver the Estate Improvement Programme across the district, ensuring contractor compliance, service quality, resident satisfaction and value for money are maintained at all times.
- Contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of estates and neighbourhoods and to support residents to get involved and make a positive contribution to their community.
- To support the management and monitoring of housing estate grounds maintenance and communal area service contracts to housing schemes across the district.

**The Person**

The key skills and qualities of a Housing Officer are:

- Experience of project and contract management, in a social housing or landscaping context
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Housing/estate management experience is desired but not essential.
- Experience of face-to-face customer liaison.
- Commitment to high standard of service delivery and a customer orientated approach.
- Motivated to work independently and an excellent team player.
- Full driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- The post holder will be required to have a relevant degree or equivalent (in Contract Management, Project Management or Housing Management).
