Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available to join our fantastic team as F&B Assistant at The Macallan Estate. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will work alongside exceptional professional team to deliver luxury food and beverage experiences. The Macallan Estate F&B offering extends across The Brasserie, The Macallan Bar, Easter Elchies House, Ghillies Cottage and The Macallan Fishing Lodge. The Estate also hosts a variety of five star events throughout the year, delivering a truly exceptional experience for our guests.

**Job Description**:

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Food & Beverage Assistant is responsible for:

- Delivering a world class brand experience of The Macallan at The Macallan Estate
- Seamlessly sharing knowledge of The Macallan and making recommendations to our guests
- Maintaining clean and well-organised Food and Beverage areas around the estate
- You’ll consistently provide the highest standards of service, drinks preparation and bar organisation
- Ensuring a warm, friendly and professional approach during breakfast, lunch and dinner service an
- You’ll be delivering efficient service of food and drinks, providing a professional and memorable experience for all our guests
- Ensuring clean crockery, cutlery and glassware is prepped and readily available for service
- Completing seamless table turnarounds in an efficient manner
- Develop an understanding of all menu offerings and be able to confidently explain items if asked
- You’ll be meticulous in preparing drinks; accurately measuring, following recipes and making sure they’re presented immaculately
- Ensuring The Macallan Bar is always immaculately presented, organised, and well-stocked

Skills and Experience
- You have a strong F&B working knowledge, passion and experience
- Ideally, you’re currently established in a similar role, having had experience within a luxury hospitality environment, however having a great attitude and willingness to learn is essential
- You have a keen eye for detail, creative, an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectation
- You want to be the best and work with the best - learning from the experts in our team and sharing your knowledge with us
- A high level of resilience and the ability to deal with fast-paced environments is essential
- A positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach
