**OPPORTUNITY**

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Catering Team as a Catering Assistant Apprentice.

**PURPOSE**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To prepare and organise food for employees in each canteen
- To place orders to maintain appropriate stocks of an approved range of products for sale to employees
- To adhere to all hygiene standards within the food areas - storage fridges, preparation surfaces, sinks, vending machines, etc
- To keep canteen facilities maintained, clean and tidy as possible
- To be responsible for all monies relating to canteen purchases and vending operations
- To promote good customer service to all who use the canteen facilities

ESSENTIAL
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective organisation skills
- Good standard of personal hygiene
- Remaining calm under pressure
