We are looking for a Head of Circular Community to lead the team and help build a thriving system with our colleagues, customers, communities, and suppliers, with everyone able to contribute to sustainable growth that is more innovative, adaptable, and resilient.

**This role entails**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Represent our customer and community for the business, understanding the commercial contribution of a strong community strategy for the business
- Responsible for growing and expanding our circular community strategy, often working in new, complex, and ambiguous environments
- Establish, embed, and deliver metrics for measuring the impact of Community engagement on the business.Continually report on those KPIs and seek to improve effectiveness.
- Lead communications to community members and colleagues. Strengthening engagement and involvement and ensuring people internally and externally feel well informed, instructed, and empowered.
- Better understand the needs of our local communities and connect those insights with our narrative, influencing the whole business to listen and learn from our customers.
- Drive operational grip across our 177 stores to ensure we are delivering community consistently whilst engaging with regional coaches and our operations colleagues to work together on plans to continuously improve what we do and narrowing the gap on any underperformance.
- Responsible for driving the performance, uptake, and participation of all circular and community initiatives. Ensuring that we deliver against our ambition to engage a third of households in the UK in initiatives and services that benefit lives on a national scale.
- Responsible for ensuring our community initiatives help us meet our target to support 250,000 people whose needs in homes are greatest and ensuring that we can track and measure this robustly
- Responsible to help ensure that we grow in a smart and cost efficient way, ensuring that we take into account all areas of the operation and identify areas to self-fund where possible.

- A passion and desire to drive regenerative change and growth, in the social purpose and sustainability space AND deliver commercial return for the business
- Experience of getting pan-company initiatives off the ground and successfully delivering them with multiple stakeholders
