Corporate Affairs owns the communication strategy for the business, ensuring high-quality, integrated and impactful communications to engage, align and influence all stakeholders. That includes internal and external audiences - including the effective management of Jaguar Land Rover’s communication channels.

The role is a key role in Jaguar Land Rover’s global Corporate Affairs function, promoting and protecting Jaguar Land Rover.

This role has responsibility for creating communications related to diversity and inclusion and will develop and deliver a D&I communications strategy which is in line with our Reimagine vision, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, and internal Refocus transformation. The individual will work hand in hand with the internal and external communications and Diversity & Inclusion teams.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**
- Support the development and delivery of a strategic diversity & inclusion communication plan for external and internal audiences.
- Inform and communicate to all stakeholders using authentic and consistent messaging from the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy.
- Positively educate and influence perception by creating world-class campaigns, crafting compelling announcements and engaging content.
- Champion diversity and inclusion across the business and identify opportunities to communicate the work of the business and our people.
- Ensure diversity is considered across all campaigns and PR messaging across the business including Corporate Affairs, Jaguar Racing and the Jaguar, Range Rover, Discovery and Defender brands.
- Support the development of a calendar of diversity & inclusion announcements, events and awards.
- Work closely with our internal Diversity & Inclusion Networks to help them communicate their activities and priorities externally.
- Support global Jaguar Land Rover teams to amplify and share the diversity & inclusion activity taking place around the world, supporting teams with activations when required.
- Build relationships with a wide stakeholder network across the business.
- Work closely with external media to share Jaguar Land Rover’s diversity and inclusion strategy in an impactful and engaging way.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams including HR, Sustainability, Corporate Affairs, Brand teams, Design etc.
- Liaise with relevant associations and external bodies communications teams.
- Support award and conference submissions.
- Support the development of briefing documents for events and media opportunities.
- Support uploading content to the corporate and media website.
- Support media monitoring, evaluation & reporting for campaigns.
- Help ensure consistent, timely and transparent messaging and activity to contribute to the overall Corporate Affairs strategy for multiple stakeholders.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**

**Essential**:

- Experience working within diversity and inclusion communications in a global business
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong written communications
- Proven experience working with multiple communications channels
- Strategic thinker with a love of developing creative communications
- Proficient communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to support press release, briefing book, presentation development
- Ability to multi-task a high personal workload, balancing delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands on delivery
- Understanding of budget responsibility
- Ability to work closely with external agencies
- Upload communications content to the media and corporate websites
- Knowledge of media monitoring and reporting
- Previous experience of strategic PR & Communications of 3+ years

**Desirable**:

- Strong relationships with relevant media publications
- Experience supporting events and external conferences
- Working in stand-alone communications role with large organisation and/or a diverse customer group
- Automotive environment experience
