**Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship - Automotive**

And while we open your eyes to the future of automotive technology, giving you a platform to make a real difference to Jaguar Land Rover and our customers, we’ll also enable you to complete your level 3 apprenticeship and achieve a vocational qualification relevant to your apprentice programme.

**Engineering Operations (EO) - Whitley or Gaydon**

EO underpins technical innovation and product delivery with engineering knowhow, tools and processes, and specialist technical services to realise our world class products. We are a diverse team that harnesses a variety of skill sets, from information management and data analytics to building and testing prototypes. We are fundamentally involved at every stage of the engineering process and are driving an exciting transformation in the way we deliver our products with class-leading technology and quality.

As an advanced apprentice, you could become an auto electrician, electronics lab fitter, calibration tester or work in our noise, vibration and harshness testing facilities. You will learn from our skilled team in a supportive environment where your work will make a difference to the wider business.

**Design Model Operations (DMO) - Gaydon**

DMO is a multi-disciplined department, ranging from office-based engineers and project staff through to highly skilled 5-axis operators, trimmers, painters and workshop modellers. The DMO department engineers manufacture and assemble all individual prototype components to deliver design models.

Your home department could be manufacturing, model build, trim, paint or electrical, but you will enjoy the opportunity to spend time in all these areas and other departments as we offer a comprehensive placement process. Along the way, you will gain expertise in 5-axis CNC machines, learn to assemble accurate prototype models, gain exposure to diverse advanced component materials, and develop your electrical and engineering knowledge.

**Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) - Fen End or Ryton**

Our SVO team offers a stimulating environment for innovative minds, giving you the chance to design and develop world-class SV-branded Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles that exemplify our key characteristics of performance, luxury and capability.

The SVO division is where bespoke craftsmanship, precision and innovation come together to meet the demands of our diverse VIP customers. We are constantly seeking to reach new heights of luxury and performance to create a feeling like no other, and you will become a core member of our 1500-strong team.

You could find yourself working on bespoke customisations, armoured vehicles, restorations of iconic cars or preparing vehicles for events, building your skills in servicing and maintenance, engine and gearbox upgrades, hard modelling, component manufacturing and hand-making of soft trim components.

**The apprenticeship**

The Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship - Automotive is a four-year programme, delivered to standards approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education (IfATE). This exciting programme will develop your practical skills and cultivate the knowledge you need for your role, including business behaviours such as team working and problem-solving.

Your pathway will depend upon the area of the business in which you will be based. You will be asked for your preference on business area ahead of attending an assessment with us.

During your apprenticeship, you can expect to spend a significant amount of your first year at our training provider: Warwick Trident College in Leamington Spa. In your first year you’ll complement your studies by working at a

Jaguar Land Rover plant alongside members of our skilled teams. During your second, third and fourth years you will be predominantly working in the plant, whilst continuing your studies at our training provider one day per week, with the constant guidance and support of a Work Based Learning Manager (WBLM).
