The Governors are seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Administrator to assist with the implementation of the school’s financial procedures. Duties are wide-ranging and will include (amongst others): to assist with the preparation of the annual budget, to maintain the school’s accounting system and to undertake detailed monitoring of monthly expenditure. In addition, this post encompasses the financial administration of the school fund, school trips and Gift Aid.

St Michael’s Catholic Grammar School is a selective school with a distinctive Catholic ethos - it is 5 times judged ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED, the most recent inspection being November 2022. Students at the school are very well behaved.

This person will work under the direction of the School Business Manager and supervises the Finance Administrator. Experience in a financial role is desirable.
