Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Financial Administrator to assist our Finance Director with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate ledgers for sales, purchase, and general transactions.
  • Process purchase/expense invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Resolve supplier queries and prepare supplier payment runs.
  • Raise accounts receivable invoices/credit notes and follow up outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Assist in preparation of banking reporting requirements.
  • Assist in intercompany and other balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze, reconcile, and post credit card statements.
  • Assist with service charge postings and reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of HMRC returns, including VAT and CIS.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of payroll.
  • Provide month-end support and assist with the preparation of management accounts and year-end.
  • Perform ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed and assist with office administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant with strong Double Entry bookkeeping and Sage Line 50 skills to join our team.
