Lots of exciting activities are taking place, including an office move, the acquisition of new facilities and the creation of 10 new roles in the next 6 months. To support that growth the business wants to recruit a HR and Recruitment Administrator.

Reporting into the Finance Director the new role will work with all staff within our business of 30 people. To support the HR and Recruitment Administrator, the services of our existing sub-contracted HR Department will be retained and they will continue to offer advice, support and direction.

With extensive growth plans, this role is ideal for someone who wishes to develop within their position, and gradually take on more responsibility as they grow alongside the business.

Duties and responsibilities will be varied and evolve over time, but we envisage the HR and Recruitment Advisor being responsible for:

- Preparing employment letters and contracts, as well as new starter induction plans
- Conducting employment references before the employee commences employment
- Maintaining and updating confidential personnel data in accordance with GDPR guidelines
- Co-ordinating induction process
- Performing new starter checks and follow up
- Preparing other HR documents and letters including resignation confirmation letters
- Creating monthly reports on HR metrics
- Co-ordinating reviews and appraisals
- Developing succession plans
- Co-ordinating work experience students and placements
- Further ad hoc training related tasks as and when required
- Developing, documenting and living the business ‘values’
- Undertaking ad hoc office management duties
- Working towards the implementation of a new HR system

**The ideal HR and Recruitment Administrator will have the following competencies;**
- Good communication both written and verbal across all levels
- High attention to detail always
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Knowledge and experience of HR systems

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
