Corin Group is in search of an HR Operations Specialist who will deliver extensive HR assistance and counsel to staff and management, adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and legal standards. You will collaborate closely with the HR Business Partner(s) and the Global HR Team to ensure a smooth HR service for all employees throughout their tenure.

This position is a full-time role for the duration of the contract.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Operations Specialist include:

  • Facilitate coordination and administrative support for the HR department, employees, and line managers as necessary.
  • Assist in the integration of fundamental people practices across all employees.
  • In partnership with the HRBP, manage and coordinate employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals, and family-friendly policies.
  • Work alongside the HRBP to oversee the disciplinary, capability, and grievance procedures, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
  • Stay informed about all changes in UK employment law, providing timely advice and preparation for the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the performance management process, including automation, reviews, and appraisals.
  • Coordinate with the Occupational Health provider regarding management referrals and long-term absence cases in collaboration with the HR Business Partner.
  • Engage with apprenticeship providers to organize, support, and oversee training programs.
  • Manage the apprenticeship levy.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze, and report on trends in employee departure data.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the HRIS System.
  • Assist the HR Business Partner with various projects as needed and support the implementation of company-wide people initiatives.
  • Participate in all facets of HR activities as required.
  • Provide coverage for HR team members when necessary.

  • Experience working effectively within an HR team or a generalist HR background.
  • Proven track record in leading projects and implementing new initiatives.
  • Aptitude for logical analysis and reasoning under tight deadlines.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Progress towards completing a CIPD level 3 qualification or equivalent.
