Overview:
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a
**Customer Services Representative** within our
**Technical Sales and Commercial team **at our Deeside Environmental laboratory. Element Deeside is the largest analytical chemistry laboratory within the Element Group and the market leading UK laboratory undertaking the testing of soils, waters, wastes, oils, NAPLs, ambient air, soil vapours and gases from all over the world. The laboratory undertakes high volume routine analysis as well as offering bespoke method development, technical support, and hydrocarbon forensic interpretations to enhance the support we can deliver. The laboratory has an international reputation for service excellence and supports clients that require a higher level of technical expertise, reliability in data quality and seamless project management from sample collection to timely delivery of data in the format of choice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and following up on quotations in a timely manner, providing clarification and modifications when required
- Utilizing technical knowledge to advise customers of options (engaging with inhouse technical specialists where required)
- Actively utilizing the CRM system to record enquiries and activities and manage opportunities
- Ability to work flexibly in a busy environment with an established team and processes
- Other ad hoc duties as required

Skills / Qualifications:

- Experience within technical sales, an environmental consultancy or laboratory environment would be advantageous but is not essential
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work
- Appetite to develop career and progress in role and within the wider Element business
