**What We Are Looking For...**:
As Reward Partner, you will own, run and maintain the key Reward policies, processes, activities and projects. As a Reward expert your work will support the attraction to and retention of talent on the Island. You will lead on Reward activity such as company car management, annual Pay/Bonus reviews, benchmarking activity and Gender Pay Gap Reporting (UK and ROI), to name a few.

You will partner with key members of our fantastic People team, providing expert advice and delivering great things for our Islanders.

This role reports to the Head of People Operations and leads a small team of 2 (Analyst and Administrator).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensuring a great service and support to our Islanders
- Making sure the River Island car fleet is safe, appropriate, cost efficient and meets our ESG goals
- Manage the E2E fleet process:
o Day to day queries on cars from; colleagues, managers, senior leaders and escalations from our car vendors

o Vendor management (quarterly reviews)

o Understanding our drivers and driver behaviour - use of vendor data to drive down fines and risk, and increase safety

o Ensure corrective action taken if breach of policy

o Update the policy and ensure its compliance/adherence

o Run the order process including reallocation of vehicles from the pool

o Hire process of pool cars

o Invoice approval and ensuring tracking spend and on budget
- Ad hoc queries regarding our reward, benefits, NMW, bonus scheme rules etc
- Ensuring robust and insightful data is available to our senior leaders via our People Partners and other key People Leads - KPIs and dashboards with trends and recommendations
- Maintenance of the benefits matrix for HO and Retail
- Gender pay UK and ROI; ensuring accurate on time reporting, and the creation of insightful, easy to read reports
- Ethnicity pay gap reporting
- Overseeing the annual pay and bonus review process
- Bonus scheme rules and communicatioss
- Benchmarking roles (Alan Jones, Radford, WTW and Korn Ferry experience would be advantageous)
- Benefits benchmark reviews
- Supplier review meetings and renewals for benefits providers e.g. PMI
- Designing and running reports - Oracle and Fleet portal
- Ad hoc cost modelling
- Spotting opportunities for continuous improvement to processes, systems and reports and where we can automate

**Knowledge and Experience**
You will have worked in a large (ideally Retail) organisation and have demonstrable experience in a specialist reward role, including experience of company car management, policy development and reward and benefits processes.

Required skills and experience:

- Experience of running a company car fleet - day to day queries, maintaining policy and liaising with employees, managers and the vendor
- Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical skills
- Excellent excel skills including the use of graphs, pivot tables etc
- Excellent communication and engagement skills; builds trust and confidence
- An understanding of GDPR and what is required to ensure any data is managed safely
- Able to write succinct reports drawing out cost benefits and people impacts - use of Word and PowerPoint
- Adept at using HRIS (Oracle experience would be advantageous) and developing/running reports
- Able to develop data dashboards with insights and recommendations, KPI development for key People and Reward metrics
- Experience of completing Gender Pay Gap reports (UK and ROI)
- Understanding of key employment taxes relating to reward and benefits e.g. BIK, OPRA
- Previous managerial experience of a small team
- Good project management skills
- Strong delivery focus - able to balance the operational requirements of the role as well as contribute to strategic projects. Takes accountability of BAU deliverable and projects
- Strong collaboration and communication skills. Engaging and working closely with the People team and wider business namely; People Partners, Payroll, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Tax and Procurement
- Good presentation skills

- Involvement in People / Reward Change projects
