London, United Kingdom Aviva Full time €70,000 - €90,000

Reward Partner

Salary national: circa £70,000 - London: circa £90,000

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reward professional to join Aviva, tasked with partnering a diverse range of senior stakeholders (primarily within our Wealth Management business).

This opportunity will suit someone who prides themselves on their exceptional communication skills, who can tackle challenging conversations and influence senior leaders with confidence, backed up by their deep Reward knowledge, ideally gained from working in a FTSE 100 business.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Wealth Management.

A bit about the job:

In this role you will deliver a value-added Reward Partnering service for senior leaders including C-suite and HR leads, proactively providing reward insights to support their strategic business priorities. You will provide both internal and external insights, utilising the right MI data, assisting with our senior hire process, and completing benchmarking exercises & pay reviews. In this role you will deliver work that directly influences Aviva's Performance and Reward policies, process and strategy. Having strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating both gravitas and integrity during challenging reward conversations, will be key, as you will become the primary contact for our Head of People, People Directors, and the business SLTs/ExCo regularly - i.e. you must be able to analyse, communicate and then present the right Reward information seamlessly to the most senior audience to ensure the best business decisions are made.

Aviva introduced "smart working" in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a commutable distance from either London, York, Bristol, or Norwich offices.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience undertaking Reward role(s), ideally for a FTSE 100 company.
  • Prior exposure to working in a regulated environment (i.e., Financial Services), completing reward tasks aligned within a set risk and/or governance framework, ideally in Wealth Management.
  • Experience of managing senior stakeholders successfully i.e., you must be able to showcase the ability to influence/challenge a diverse range of senior leaders and partners.
  • Deep understanding of technical reward policies matched with the ability to translate complex Reward principles, so they support both business and customer needs.
  • Good with numbers (be an expert on Excel) and well-established analytical skills matched with confident presentation skills.

What you'll get for this role:

Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague.

  • Salary: national: circa £70,000 - London: £90,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
  • 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days
  • Make your money go further - Up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts
  • Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme
  • Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer's leave
  • Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work
  • Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 paid volunteering days to help others
  • We take your wellbeing seriously with lots of support and tools

Aviva is for everyone:

Excited but not sure you tick every box? Research tells us that women, particularly, feel this way. So, regardless of gender, why not apply. And if you're in a job share just apply as a pair.

We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you. Most of our people are smart working -spending around 50% of their time in our offices every week - combining the benefits of flexibility, with time together with colleagues.
