United Utilities have awarded Costain a new Managed Service Provider (MSP) framework contract. Under the contract Costain provide the overall management and delivery of United Utilities’ larger-scale water and wastewater asset maintenance activities across the entirety of its network, including 96 water treatment and 575 wastewater treatment sites, which serves over six million people in the Northwest of England.

As part of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) Framework, there is a high volume of reactive maintenance and minor construction “Core Services” with lower value and complexity, short timescale, and rapid response times. Costain receive the work order via the MSP Hub Service Desk and select the appropriate contractor to carry out the work from the competence checked, approved MSP supply chain.

This role will be site based until the end of the year, with the option for dynamic working.

**Role Requirements**
- Experience of NEC 3 Form of Contract and Subcontract
- SMSTS and CSCS card
- SHEQ compliance with the Framework HASEMP, and compliance with the Framework Management plan
- Report project and services performance SHEQ, Time and Cost, monthly to allow portfolio performance reviews to be held between the ADM and Project Managers
- Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive
- Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
