We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking, and dedicated advanced assistant to embark on an exciting role within our esteemed cancer rehabilitation team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital. As a valued member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering transformative rehabilitation to patients diagnosed with cancer.
This position is tailor-made for individuals seeking to gain expertise in oncology rehabilitation while working in close collaboration with our esteemed oncology multi-disciplinary team.
As a static Band 4 therapy assistant, you will be at the forefront of providing quality care to patients within an inpatient setting. Embrace this opportunity to develop your rehabilitation skills in oncology and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing cancer.

Our aim is to be patient centered, research driven and clinical lead by highly experienced staff. Applicants would be responsible for delivering rehabilitative assessment and intervention to oncology and palliative care patients as supported by physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
The successful applicant will implement timely and person-centered assessment and rehabilitation programmes as well as carrying out administrative tasks to support the team. Excellent communication, organisational and information technology skills are essential.
