Exciting opportunity to join a growing business in Peterborough as an Admin Assistant providing support to a busy team. Working for a PR, Event and Marketing Consultancy, reporting to the Managing Director, the position of Admin Assistant will be an integralpart of the fast growing team and is required to assist with the administration and organisation of the company. This opportunity is a varied role, suited to a highly motivated and organised individual with great attention to detail. You should be able tomanage your own workload and prioritise tasks accordingly.
Tasks will include:
- First point of contact for all enquiries to the company, forwarding lines of enquiry to the relevant staff members and acting as the gatekeeper for the Managing Director.
- Overseeing the general operation of the office on a day to day basis, dealing with suppliers and implementing processes to ensure the smooth running of the office.
- Attending client meetings and events.
- Client administration.
- Providing administrative support to the whole team.
The company also runs a number of training courses on behalf of one of its clients and the person in this role will be required to provide administrative support to include:
- Running the training courses.
- Liaising with trainers for each course.
- Liaison with Training Partners for the day to day running of their courses.
- Organising the printing of course manuals and delegate notes.
- Liaising with delegates - sending out booking forms and joining instructions.
- Invoicing and payment chasing.
- Sending out certificates to delegates.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
- Excellent written English
- Confident liaising with clients and suppliers.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and produce a high standard of work, even when working under pressure.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to work autonomously, managing your own workload as well as cooperating with the team on projects.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
