Compliance Administrator

Are you an experienced Administrator seeking a new challenge with a growing business?
We are delighted to be working with one of Glasgow's growing fit-out and facilities management businesses as they look to add strength to their electrical compliance team. This Administrative position will fulfil a key role in maintaining and developing the existing high standards as this company continues to deliver for a range of key local authority clients.
Working closely with the Electrical Compliance Manager, responsibilities include:
- Instructing, chasing and updating safety record data to ensure the rental properties remain compliant with current regulations.
- Managing the day-to-day mailboxes and contact of Landlords, Tenants and Contractors in a timely manner to ensure communication lines are followed and recorded.
- Working with contractors to ensure work is instructed, booked in, and carried out in a timely manner and to the correct standard to maintain a good working relationship.
- Instructing any relevant maintenance issues as necessary for compliance.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and accuracy of data reporting.
- Work with other Departments to assist with the start-up, continuous and off boarding of properties to ensure the properties are and remain legally compliant.
Person specifications and key competencies:
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all safety certificate remains compliant.
- Strong customer service skills to handle difficult situations.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good communication/negotiation skills and very competent in resolving conflict and potential disputes.
- Confident at relaying information.
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good IT skills including MS Office Suite.
