**Summary of the Security Supervisor role**

As the Security Supervisor, you will be accountable for a small team of Security Officers based on-site at our main headquarters in Cramlington, Northumberland.

Your role will consist of working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, and you will be the point of contact for any matters that involves security. The hours may differ from time to time to meet the needs of the business, so the ability and willingness to be flexible is required.

**Your responsibilities**
- Overseeing the security team and ensuring there is 24/7 coverage on site.
- Facilitating regular inspections and patrols to ensure safety and security.
- Monitoring and authorising the entrance and departure of visitors and contractors.
- Conducting basic administrative duties such as providing telephone assistance when switchboards are closed and preparing passes for visitors, employees and contractors.
- Upholding of company EHS standards, ensuring all visitors are well briefed of all EHS requirements including safety policies and procedures, sources of ignition and smoking policy.
- Maintaining accurate records of visitor and incident logs where applicable.
- Delegating tasks to team members and ensuring overall performance.

**Requirements for the role**
- Previous experience within a supervisory role is essential.
- Must be comfortable and assured developing own skills and those within the team.
- Ability to remain calm and deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills as this is a front of house role.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office package.
